夹胶膜的减振性能越好，夹胶玻璃的整体隔音性能就越好(1~3分贝)，特别是针对中低频的隔音性能。隔音窗采用的杜邦阻尼胶片是聚乙烯醇缩丁醛树脂经增塑剂塑化挤压成型的一种高分子材料，是夹胶玻璃中的胶片，具有良好的隔音、隔热、防盗、采光和安全性能，隔音性能非常理想。
